The repetitive form emerging in the iron references a stalactite/stalagmite structure that originates from a blackbuck horn. I interpreted this particular shape as a metaphor for a human life since it has cycles, smooth and rigid parts, and becomes more defined as it grows. The horns serve as a Memento Mori for evolution since they are the key to determine what genetics that will be passed along. The iron solidifies the origin of an organic essence and allows for contemplation for what it means to be an evolving organism and what specifically separates us from the rest of evolving life.
